Alex Reid Wins Celebrity Big Brother.

In another twist of fate Alex Reid has now won the television program ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and gone from media target to the most popular and liked contestant on the show.

Reid, a bookies favorite went into the house with a far from popular view provided by the red top media and other various glossy mind numbing journals which adorn the shelf’s of newsagents and supermarkets across the breath of the land.

Since starting a relationship with Katie Price the UK middleweight was a daily source for bashing by the press and even caused some divide in the UK MMA online community who felt he was not representing MMA in a way conductive to the sport’s image.  The pinnacle of this emerged at a UCMMA event where a less then savory crowd member tried to punch Reid after he defeated  Jack Mason in K1 rules bout. It was not going well for the Reidenator.

When it was announced that Reid would be entering the Big Brother House many fan’s were not sure how he would come across and if matter’s would be made worse. Those close to Reid however knew it was a good move as the public could then see what they already knew and that is that Reid is no more and no less then a fairly decent likable bloke.

And so it was that Alex came across as just that and won the public’s affections and the series.

So what hold’s next for Reid in his celebrity life? We don’t have a clue, but MMA wise we know he now has a determined, hard training Tom Watson to fight.
