A slow start to a series for his team. It was bad that first season in Brooklyn.

Ibaka is fortunate the Raptors had two days between games.

And they all got one.

Giannis Antetokounmpo poured in a playoff career-high 28 points and put on a clinic on both ends of the floor to lead his team. At one point, Paul's mouthpiece went flying and landed on the opposite side of the court from him.

Three nights after a awful outing in Game 1, Kyle Lowry more than made up for it in Game 2.

The Toronto Raptors hope the National Basketball Association is paying attention to Matthew Dellavedova. Toronto does not need Lowry to have a great game, but they do need him to come relatively close to his season averages of 22.4 points, 7 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 46.4 percent shooting. And then, with the crowd on its collective feet, the Raptors played solid defence, before Lowry connected to guarantee Toronto the victory.

Jazz: Gobert, who injured his knee just 17 seconds into the series opener, joined two assistant coaches for a pregame meal in the media dining room, an area rarely visited by players. He was 0-for-6 from behind the arc.

Tucker missed two free throws with 56.3 seconds left, failing to extend a two-point Toronto lead and giving the Bucks another life.

Then Lowry went out and showed why no words were needed. At the end of the day, I work on my shot nearly every day. You've got to give them credit for doing a good job defensively. They capped off the year as the third place team of the conference, going 51-31 on the year.

"I haven't thought anything about that", Antetokounmpo said. "It's never ideal. But we've got to bounce back and understand we make it hard on come back and fight back even harder".

It's about here where there seems to be a difference of opinion. Not much more to say about this, the opening game has been a nightmare for the Raptors.

Lowry sounds like he will comply but grudgingly.

"That's going to be a big thing (Tuesday)", Kidd said, "just making sure that they take one tough shot, and us being able to rebound the ball".

When pressed Sunday about what he can do differently in Game 2, Lowry answered: "Put it this way: I guess I'm going to have to force shots". I think I tried to (go on a similar rant) a year ago but I didn't do as good a job as he did last night. "You got four arms on you, but I gotta be more aggressive". But coach Dwane Casey said Ibaka "should be ready to go tomorrow night". We played like it was a mid-season game in February. "You keep playing that way, it's always going to bite you in the behind and that's what happened to us tonight". Raptors F P.J. Tucker made his playoff debut.

"It's something that we can't feel our way into", DeRozan said. "You have to screen in playoff form, you have to cut in playoff form, you have to run in playoff form, and we didn't do that long enough".

The Raptors now take this playoff run on the road with Game 3 in Milwaukee on Thursday. His rebounds are the most by a Bucks player in the playoffs since Ervin Johnson had 15 in 2001. I knew there were five seconds on the shot clock and I wanted to get to my spot. "I think that's just kind of our problem". If he is unable to play, Patrick Patterson (16 minutes off the bench in Game 1) would be in line to start with Jakob Poeltl and Lucas Nogueira likely to play more too. "We've got to get those guys off the 3".
