USA/Alexandria Birthday Celebration. 5-10 p.m.at Oronoco Bay Park, 100 Madison St. Event to celebrate the 241st birthday of the USA and the 268th birthday of the City of Alexandria, featuring entertainment, cannon salute during the 1812 Overture, food and beverage sales, and fireworks at 9:30. The city has a full lineup of Independence Day events, including a parade, a vehicle show, and a fun run. A reading of the Declaration of Independence will take place at Old Point Schoolhouse, followed by a picnic, games and local music at Poquatuck Park.

- The week-long Annual Lumbee Homecoming festival in Pembroke that recognizes the heritage of the Lumbee people in Robeson County and surrounding areas, ends with a fireworks show on Saturday at 9 p.m. Following the parade, the fire department will host a hot dog roast in the village park. Rain date is July 5.

- In De Soto, the celebration begins with a Fourth of July celebratory parade on Tuesday, July 4. The gates open at 5:45 p.m. and music by the Robbie Limon Band and others will start at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at around 9:45 p.m.

Head out to the Hill Country Galleria for a family-focused Independence Day Celebration.

Light up the Lake - Saturday, July 1 at the Mandeville Lakefront between Coffee and Carroll.

There are several events July 4, including a fireworks display, a midnight swim, bell ringing and a disc golf tournament. Go online for ticket prices: denveroutlaws.com.

Franklin on the Fourth will start at 10 a.m.in downtown Franklin with activities and entertainment all day, leading up to fireworks over Harlinsdale Park at dusk. Parking is $10 per auto.

Bartow 4th of July Celebration: July 4; Mosaic Park & Bartow Civic Center - Bartow; 2250 S Floral Ave, Bartow, FL 33830; 2:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Other parking inside the park will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Neosho residents are already permitted to set fire works off and will be able to everyday 7 a.m.to 11 p.m. through July 5th. 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. There will also be food vendors available in the grass area.

Clintonville - Monday, July 3, 2017 for Clintonville A's Fireworks beginning at dusk.

Greenville kick-offs Independence Day with their 5th annual "American Downtown" event with a parade at 2 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. At least 10 food vendors will be present at the park, as well as craft and home business vendors.

Free annual Red White Blue & You Celebration held at the Lake Charles Civic Center located at 900 Lakeshore Drive. Music from the Austin Symphonic Band starts at 8 pm followed by fireworks at around 9:15 pm.

Crossville's Fourth of July celebration begins at 5 p.m. on July 4 at Crossville Centennial Park. Check out Redwood City's 31st Annual Independence Day Festival. The farm has great views and plenty of parking.

Food vendors, activities, 6 p.m.; live music, 8 p.m.; fireworks display, 10 p.m. Tuesday, Lake Boren Park, Southeast 84th Avenue and Coal Creek Parkway Southeast, Newcastle (425-649-4444 or newcastlewa.gov).

Fourth of July is all about celebrating America at a barbecue, a day at the beach, a ballgame, and, of course, with some fireworks. All-day festival Tuesday, beginning at noon.

The route begins at Roosevelt Park at South Main and Jefferson streets.
