Curry, Durant lead Warriors to 2-0 lead with 132-113 rout

The Warriors, who had their head coach return in game 2, remain undefeated in the National Basketball Association playoffs as they improve to 14-0. It's the second consecutive year Golden State won the first two games of the Finals.

The Warriors have not exactly suffered without him, posting an unblemished 11-0 record under interim head coach Mike Brown during the playoffs. "That's all the motivation we need", Curry said. "It definitely is a must win".

Golden State improved to 14-0 this postseason and is trying to become the first group to go unbeaten all the way to a title.

"I'm excited and it's good to be back", Kerr said.

"Their offense is constantly moving, so you've got to be locked in", Lue says.

The Golden State Warriors pummeled the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-113 on Sunday to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals.

"That's what they do", James said.

If you have, you know what I'm talking about.

LeBron responded with "Well, I mean, are you a smart guy?", to which the reporter said "I think so".

Despite another valiant effort from LeBron James, who posted a 29-11-14 stat line and lead the Cavs in points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks, Cleveland once again couldn't keep pace with Golden State. Durant and Steph Curry had 33 and 32 points, respectively. Last year, Cleveland rallied to win last year's series in seven games.

Klay Thompson added 22 points for the Warriors. "It's fresh in our minds".

Team Rebounds: 6; Individual Rebounds: 53 (Durant 13). Trust me, we know, it was 2-0 a year ago and we lost.

However, the Warriors wore down the Cavaliers and began to pull away.

Naturally we in the media are going to try and pick something to make a bigger deal when you have a series that's been nothing short of "boring" for the mere fact that it hasn't been even remotely close yet. "We're plain and simple going to have to play better".

Golden State, which committed just four turnovers in Game 1, had eight in the first quarter alone but nonetheless managed to build as much as a 10-point advantage in the period.

Q: How can going home alter your outlook as you look forward to Game 3?

James came out strong, with 18 first half points but struggled down the stretch on both ends of the floor, scoring just two fourth quarter points and turning the ball over four times.

That's all well and good, and will give those with a bent towards statistical analysis something to do, but it is the moments that should be remembered: those exhilarating snippets of basketball brilliance that are showing just how deep and talented and versatile the Warriors are. "We understand how unsafe they are", he said.
