Gal Gadot and Director Patty Jenkins Already Committed for 'Wonder Woman' Sequel

There's a mysterious and brief trailer playing in front of Wonder Woman in some cities this weekend, but it's not so secretive that we can't figure out what it's all about. I'm sure we wouldn't have made the same choice'.

The DC Cinematic Universe has suffered greatly from lacking a rather important aspect of the comics that they draw their stories from, which is joy and, most importantly, hope. The director has worked mostly in TV since, turning down an opportunity to direct a film in Marvel's "Thor" franchise once she realized that she and the studio wanted to tell different stories.

But for feisty filmmaker Jenkins, this isn't just a superhero movie; it's a message to Hollywood. You and I are her, and that's why you see those little signs and T-shirts that say things like "Wonder Woman works here" or "My mom is Wonder Woman". She's somewhat naive, having been raised on an island cut off from civilization and populated entirely by women. We get introduced to Wonder Woman, and people familiar with her origins in the comics should be able to follow.

"The fact that they found Gal and chose her is a magical gift to me.She's courageous, strong, kind, loving, badass - every adjective you can think of for Wonder Woman, Gal is", said Jenkins.

Do you something awesome to share with the world?

LATEST American super hero movie, "Wonder Woman", has hit the Nigerian cinemas nationwide.

"Patty was working on this movie for two years; I was working on this movie for a year, and we cared so much about the film and the character". Meanwhile, Gadot's Diane Prince can now be seen in Wonder Woman and next up in Justice League, which will be released on Nov 19.

Warner Bros., which produces the film, had no comment. Instead of bringing us closer to these larger-than-life characters, he alienates us further from them.

- Josh Thomas (@JoshThomas1994)I want to see this movie! Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny. And she saves everyone.Gadot is positively luminous but the simplistic script doesn't test her acting mettle and she struggles to scrape off syrup from the film's central assertion that love alone can defeat war. How many bullets can she fight?' And I kept saying, 'It's not about that. For someone who is consistently criticized as someone who prefers style over substance and can't "piece together a coherent story" - Wonder Woman seems to be doing pretty well.
