LeBron averaged a triple-double in the Finals yet Cleveland took just one game because the Warriors, with Durant leading the charge, were simply that much better.

He hugged mother Wanda many a time.

But alas Game Four came and you didn't have to be clairvoyant to know that the 2016 champs and LeBron James in particular, would come out and represent their mantra to the letter, defend the land, with an emphatic 137-116 victory.

In his lone season with the team, Durant said it's the selflessness that stands out to him. "But then that was far from the truth". So, sorry I went on a little rant, but that's how I feel about the team. "What we've built here is truly special, it's unique, it's something that you don't want to see end at all", Curry said.

It is a tradition in the United States that professional sports teams visit the White House as the Chicago Cubs did in January when they spent time with President Barack Obama after capturing their 2016 Major League Baseball title. "It looks like it was easy, but guys like Steph Curry welcoming him and kind of let him shine - it worked out like it should", Myers said.

"Maybe (Trump) doesn't (invite us) and we don't go, or we don't say anything and make a big deal of it, and he doesn't make a big deal of it and we go our separate ways", Iguodala said, though the report noted he's also known to be sarcastic.

They get to celebrate Curry, Klay Thompson, coach Steve Kerr, and Finals MVP Kevin Durant, who unlike the others will be in his first championship parade. "So, I do not anticipate any issues with him staying".

But, hey, like Lacob said, whatever it takes.

The season may not have ended the way they hoped, but the Cleveland Cavaliers still put together an incredibly strong playoff run. He had an wonderful series, just dominated.

The Warriors, who beat Cleveland in the 2015 Finals only to lose to them a year ago after squandering a 3-1 series lead, went a record-setting 16-1 in the playoffs, their only loss coming in Game Four of the best-of-seven championship. I'm just so happy Kevin has broken through. James will try and lure more help to come to Cleveland.

Durant is so dedicated to winning multiple championships that he is reportedly considering taking less money from the team in order to free up space to re-sign key reserves like Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala. Still, he insisted he had another notch to raise his game, and he certainly found it. James has now slipped to 3-5 in the NBA Finals. Some of those decisions could affect what happens on draft night, when Markelle Fultz will likely go to the Celtics with the No. 1 overall pick.
