Combee is a bug / fly type Pokémon introduced in the fourth generation.

Combee's name comes from the English words honeycomb; combination and bee.

Your Japanese name; Mitsuhoney; comes from the words ?? mitsubachi (bee); mittsu (three) and the word honey (honey).

Combee is based on honeycombs and honey bees. The low percentage of female Combee and the high of the males resembles the hives of nature; where in each honeycomb there is only one Queen and hundreds of drone bees

The Combee are in perfect synchrony since they are formed by three bees that live in colonies where the one that commands is Vespiquen; pollinate the flowers and make honey to feed the colony; Nevertheless; some insects to which honey attracts; as Mothim or Heracross sometimes take their honey from them. When they sleep they usually come together in large groups to form a large hive. Apparently her species is dominated by the feminine gender since the characteristics show that the only Combee that evolve in Vespiquen are females.
