This pumpkin made into a candy jar was created by Kim from Pop Cosmo. Using an artificial pumpkin for this project does not have to get dirty by drilling it.

Materials : an artificial pumpkin, a paintbrush, gold paint, glue for fabrics (also known as glue , or even "Mod Podge"), scissors, gold glitter paper, black and white patterned tape (look for a light ribbon or "washi" or Japanese paper striped paper).

1. With your pencil, mark the area from which you are going to extract the top of the pumpkin, then use your knife to cut that part.

2. Apply the glue in a line on which you will place the ribbon.

3. Press the tape firmly against the glue and leave it still for a moment. Then place glue on the ribbon to glue it to the pumpkin (so that your ribbon sticks to the pumpkin above and below). Let it dry completely.

4. Paint the golden stem.

5. Draw a heart the size and shape you want on the back of the paper with glitter. Cut that heart, put glue on its back, and place it in the pumpkin.

6. Cover the hollow inside with paper, place on a plate, and fill with sweets.

Fill it with candy and use it as a centerpiece for a costume party .
