Here I leave you with the first of several costume ideas for Halloween that I will be presenting in the next two weeks. To begin with, why not try to make this super simple scarecrow costume? I love how cute and simple it turned out to be this disguise; and the best of all is that you can literally make this costume in less than 10 minutes!

What I like most about this costume is that it is made entirely by things that most women already have in their closets. This is what you will need:

  • Jeans
  • Plaid shirt
  • Hat (bonus points if its made out of straw!)
  • Black eyeliner (a must!) and orange eyeshadow (optional)
  • A little bit of hay
  • Sunflowers (optional)

What I like most about this disguise is that it is composed of things most women already have in their closets . This is what you will need:

  • Jeans
Eye pencil in black and (optional) eye shadow in orange

Straw

Sunflowers optional)

For this costume, you only need to wear your favorite jeans, a plaid shirt (

Clothing and Accessories preferably in fall colors like mine), boots, and a hat. So simple.

The key part of this costume is definitely the makeup. I used a black eyeliner to draw these designs on my nose and mouth. I also outlined the bottom of my eyes with a subtle scarecrow-ish (invented word!) Design. I finished it off by adding a little orange eyeshadow to the circle on my nose (optional!). The key element of this disguise is certainly the make-up. I use a black eyeliner to draw these designs on my nose and mouth. I also made a subtle design under the eyes that I feel gives that touch of scarecrow. I finished my makeup by adding some orange eye shadow to the circle on my nose (but that's optional!). I promise that this makeup was not hard to do, do not be afraid to try it yourself!

A great way to finish off this custom is to grab some hay and stuff it into the top of your boots and out of the sleeves of your shirt. I used just a little bit, but you could go all out with the hay! A great idea to finish this disguise is to grab a little straw and put it on the top of your boots and on the sleeves of your shirt. I also liked the idea of buying these plastic sunflowers as an accessory to give it that autumn scarecrow look.

a super easy homemade halloween costume that can be put together at the very last minute! I hope you have enjoyed the first of my Halloween costume ideas, stay tuned to see more!
